You know, I never drink in an airport. It’s not because of any practical or virtuous reason. I’m simply too cheap to pay the inflated prices for the poor selections I usually find.

Nope, the older I get the less I like flying. I generally get plastered before a flight. Not like get kicked off the plane drunk, but like permagrin gettin real into my tunes drunk. Alternatively I’ll take a benzo and drink one beer haha.

I can use my phone as a hot spot if the internet sucks. It is passable for work uses, not very good for watching Youtube.

One of the main reasons I continue to pay for my overpriced credit card is because I can drink for free in relative comfort at the United clubs. Last winter, two friends and I were delayed for six hours....that one visit was worth the entire years fee. As an aside, the dining/drinking options in most airports are pretty good these days. (Not sure about the cost)

My dad used to be a member of USAir’s club. Since we have the same name, I used him to sit in those lounges. If you have a significant layover and fly a lot, it’s a huge benefit. That said, I’d have to fly a lot more and get laid over a lot more to spend that coin. Since I’m in a wheelchair, I instead spend the extra $$ to fly non-stop instead when I can.
No matter the quality, it’s hard to get reasonably priced food once you’re past security.

I thought that I had outgrown gaming, but my Nintendo Switch has kept me totally entertained in airports and on planes. I’ve been on 20 flights (10 layovers) since October and it’s been in constant use on those trips.
